Scales and nails day

By October 15, 2018No Comments

Routine husbandry day today – and while preparing the shed we discovered the lead on the weighing scales was broken and not repairable.  So, no weighing today and another lead ordered!

All the gang had a formal health check with the vet, were body/condition scored and had toenails trimmed and a dose of Premier Camelid Drench.  We have a herd health plan in place which we review with our local vet on site – ensuring we build into our husbandry tasks and parasite management any information from the vet regarding local observations of parasite burdens in neighbouring farms and area.
