Alpaca yarn is luxuriously soft with a beautiful natural drape, making it a joy to knit and even better to wear. It’s warmer than sheep’s wool yet very lightweight and breathable, thanks to its hollow fibres. Because it lacks lanolin, alpaca yarn is hypoallergenic – gentle on sensitive skin and lets the depth and richness of hand-dyed colour really shine.  We have a range of natural colours, blended yarns and hand-dyed yarns available.   Once you’ve worked with alpaca yarn, you’ll never want to use anything else!
